Actually, the location is great. It's a quality, value-for-money hotel. The receptionists are very friendly. Ideal hotel for a stop on the way.
The mattress, it's the kind that sinks, so if you sleep with someone... imagine, there's no separate area on the mattress. Breakfast time is a little late, they start at 9 am, so when you finish your breakfast and so on, it's almost 10 am and if you're sightseeing... that's late, it wouldn't be bad if they started at 8 am. And breakfast is a little insufficient in quantity, if you ordered toast, it was only one! The breakfast was natural orange juice, croissant, muffin or toast and coffee with milk, a little short in my opinion, they could put a toast more. And the walls... like many other hotels, super paper, you can hear everything. And they let dogs in, but if the owners leave, they bark all the time, and it seems that you have the dog with you, it's very annoying.

We don't value the air conditioning because we don't use it. I don't recommend the hotel for pets because I don't know if they can be taken. We don't value the question about the food because we only had breakfast, was fine and we were served natural juice, coffee/infusion/colacao (to choose one) and croissant/toast/churros (to choose one). Price of breakfast: 3 euros. None of the group found it expensive. staffAlthough all the employees (including the owner) with whom we had a relationship attended us well and correctly, receptionist who received us on the first day (we also agreed with him the next day) we can only say of him: "a great guy". He was kind and pleasant. He informed and guided us perfectly regarding places to eat tapas and also regarding everything related to the Monasterio de Piedra (the main reason for our stay in Calatayud). From the details we saw while we were at the hotel, we think that more or less they must all be good people. several days before arriving at the hotel I called them to ask about the parking conditions in the area of the hotel. individual I spoke to was kind, precise and informed me perfectly and correctly. as for the hotel, it is normal, no more and no less than what I expect from a hotel. Comfortable, clean venue, an excellent location and I consider that everything was in accordance with the price.

Reasonably priced hotel located in a perfect area close enough to the city center and most important things and the restaurant. Exceptionally comfortable bed in the single room, plus air conditioning, an electronic key card, and a work desk. A wide range of fine food at breakfast time. Central location, at a walking distance from a large medieval baptistery. Pleasant stay, as always...

area in which it is located is well parked as it is a "blue" regulated parking area. Zone of bars, restaurants and supermarket. Our room is facing the street, is a very pedestrian avenue, recently renovated bathroom with shower.
I didn't ask for a non-smoking room, I didn't fall for it. I requested the change but it was not available. receptionist was nice but the room smelled too much like tobacco, bed was comfortable, sheets ok but the blankets were too old. restaurant is not bad, staff is very dry and even on edge, they serve you with monosyllables very abruptly, they bring the dish they put it on the table with a sudden "Look out! ", instead of "Are you done? ", simple "already? Without greeting or saying goodbye, cafeteria is fine but the breakfast is simple: coffee+juice+croissant or toast or churros for 3 euros. In the bars of the area, same cheaper 2, 10?.

The room was spacious with a large closet and an acceptable bathroom. The wifi was working perfectly and very fast. We found parking in the same door although it was in the blue zone but 60 cents an hour. The bathroom was small but it was fine. The beds were comfortable and clean. The reception and cafeteria staff were very friendly and helpful. The room seems reformed and new and modern.
We went up to the second floor and there was a very unpleasant smell of frying pan, I guess it came from the restaurant. The breakfast that was included seemed too scarce to me, coffee and juice and a toast with butter and jam, a toast that is a slice of bread. I don't know about the others but at least two slices of bread and a little bit of ham, but well.. The elevator was moving down when you were riding, it gave me a little respect because on top of that it has been expired since February of this year with the inspection of the accessory. The pillows were small and very soft. The look of the corridors doesn't like much because it looks quite old.

The hotel is located right next to a beautiful tree-lined avenue and close to the center of Calatayud. the staff is friendly towards dogs and provides excellent care for all guests. My single room had windows that offered a view of the courtyard, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

breakfast surprised me, because in spite of the bad comments it is very, good. Obviously it is not a buffet breakfast, just natural juice, coffee or infusion, toast or croissant, with jam, butter, etc. for the treatment, served at the table, place picked up.. Anyway, satisfied with the breakfast. As well as the warmth of the room, heating, can be adjusted from the room itself, water in the shower, with a very good pressure and an ideal temperature, are all working 100%. Showering with warm water in winter is something very annoying, this was boiling (if you want). In short, satisfied.
You can see that it's an old hotel, it has details that are quite badly finished, doors of the rooms are surprising (because they're old), everything is 100% functional, so it's simply aesthetic, at least they compensate you in the low price, as well as the location, good for visiting Calatayud but very bad for parking, all blue zone in the surroundings. We park next to the bullring, it's not that far either, it depends on your luggage.

I liked very much the location, bed and attention of the receptionist at night, value for money.
breakfast was from 8 to 11 and at 9, 30 when the room was empty there were no more croissants, it gave just for 3 croissants that we asked were very good as well as the coffee, we wanted to pay another 2 croissants and there were no more. then there is nothing more than a toast or a muffin, orange juice is not natural as they say and in a small glass, without any doubt if I repeat I will stay without the option of breakfast, because I went hungry and wanting another coffee and another croasant at the side of the hotel is full of bars and bakeries with everything, I find it incredible that in the middle of breakfast time and lounge without people you can only eat a slice of bread or a muffin. Besides we were 2 couples and they could only offer us a double bed when we asked for 2 rooms with a double bed. they told us that you only have one double bed per floor when each floor must have about 30 rooms.

Very enjoyable and hassle-free experience. We were looking for a cheap (but clean) place to stop over in a trip across country and we found it!
The only small problems we had were with the heating at night and with the wifi connection. The wifi connected intermittently. We asked reception at checkout and they said it was a problem with the service provider that we could have solved adding some extra configuration (thus our fault not having complained earlier). The heating problem is that the rooms come equipped with only one blanket and people are supposed to turn on the heater and keep it at the temperature they prefer during the whole night. In our case we do not like hearing a buzzing noise of an air conditioning machine over our heads, even if it is a very small sound.
